I have years of experience working closely with medical professionals.  I understand the importance of screening your patients for behavioral health issues.  I've heard feedback that some providers choose not to screen patients for behavioral health needs because they are unsure of what to do if one of the screens is positive.  I can assist you in implementing procedures for screening your patients and provide training on what to do if a screen has a positive result.  I can be available for consultations and referrals.  If I am unable to see a patient you have referred, I can assist in finding your patient appropriate treatment.

I have developed a brief behavioral health assessment that screens for depression, anxiety, substance use, and suicidality.   It is a one page assessment that can be given at new or annual visits or as needed.
